Amy W. Osborne is an attorney licensed to practice in North Carolina and is a member of the Wake County Bar. Amy is also a licensed North Carolina CPA. Amy offers elder law and estate planning services to residents of Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham and other surrounding counties.
Amy is dedicated to individual service within a small firm. She enjoys working with her clients, not just for them. She also believes in proactive planning to help her clients
achieve their desired goals. She invites prospective clients to contact the firm for a consultation.
Amy graduated from the University of Tulsa Oklahoma, with a degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting and minor in International Business. Amy served as co-social chair of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.
She continued her studies at the University of Tulsa College of Law, where she was a proud Golden Hurricane. Amy was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity, served on the Journal of International & Comparative Law, and worked in the TU Legal Clinic on its Oler Americans Law Project. Amy assisted in preparing wills and trusts, as well as seeking housing justice, retention of Medical benefits and pursuing the return of funds for elder abuse victims. In addition, Amy served as Secretary of the International Law Students Association and volunteered with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to prepare tax returns.
Amy has lived in the Tarheel State since 1997, living in Chatham County, Orange County and now Wake County. She has volunteered with the Wake County Board of Elections. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her puppy and traveling.
Angel Nardo
Office Manager
Angel joined the firm in 2022 and quickly rose to the role of Office Manager. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry—serving as a Private Events and Food & Beverage Director at private golf clubs throughout the Northeast—she brings a deep commitment to exceptional client service and relationship building.
Before joining the firm, she transitioned into the legal field, working with local law firms specializing in real estate. Her background in hospitality has given her a unique perspective on client relations, teamwork, and creating positive experiences that last a lifetime.
A proud West Virginia native, Angel enjoys exploring the mountains in her Jeep, off-roading adventures, and spending time with family, friends, and her partner-in-crime, Vito (see Vito’s bio).
Lindsay Woodard
Director of Finance
Lindsay brings over 24 years of experience in corporate law, family law, human resources, and management to her role as Director of Finance. Her well-rounded background combines legal expertise with strategic financial leadership, driving organizational growth and operational excellence.
A proud mother and Nana, Lindsay adores her five fur babies and treasures time spent with family and friends. When she’s not working, you’ll find her at the beach — her happy place — where she finds peace and inspiration.
Mary Brockman
Associate Attorney
Mary was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature before going on to attend Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. She graduated from law school in 2023.
After graduating from law school, Mary worked as a probate and estate planning paralegal before being admitted to the Florida Bar. She then practiced law in Florida for just over a year, gaining experience across a broad range of practice areas, including probate, estate planning, land use, personal injury, and family law.
In 2025, Mary relocated to North Carolina. While preparing for the North Carolina Bar Exam, she continued working in family law. After becoming licensed in North Carolina, Mary decided to pursue her true passion—estate planning—and joined the Law Offices of Amy Whinery Osborne in June 2026.
Mary is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized, and comprehensive representation. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals, guide them through the estate planning process, and create a plan that protects what matters most to them.
Outside of the office, Mary enjoys reading classic literature, traveling, attending music festivals, and spending time with her family, friends, and 4 cats.
Tarence Judd
Probate Paralegal
Tarence recently joined the firm working as a Paralegal in Trust & Estate Administration, Guardianship, and Funding. While he primarily assists with asset management and accounting work, he is also skilled in many facets of estate planning and firm administration.
Tarence joins us after a stint with the Durham County Estate Division. He is extremely kind, which is wonderful for working with our clients during what is understandably a very difficult time . When not working, Tarence enjoys watching sports, playing with his dog, and traveling.
Akanksha Vishnoi
Signing Agent
Akanksha joined the firm in 2022 as a Signing Agent. In addition to her role with the firm, she owns and operates her own mobile notary business and is a licensed mortgage loan officer and insurance agent.
Dedicated and community-minded, Akanksha takes pride in providing professional, reliable service to clients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, cooking delicious Indian dishes, and staying active in her local community.
Anylah Ottey
Client Services Coordinator
Anylah joined the firm in 2025 as a Client Services Coordinator. She assists clients with scheduling, intake information, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish.
A proud North Carolina native, Anylah’s love for the Tar Heel State runs deep. She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and caring for animals. Passionate about helping others, she looks forward to assisting clients with their estate planning needs.

Rahul Vasireddy
Intern
Rahul joined the firm in 2024 as an Intern. Having completed high school, Rahul is headed to Washington, D.C., as an incoming college freshman. He plans to pursue a law degree in the future. During his time with the firm, Rahul has gained hands-on experience in many areas, including document drafting, operations, billing, communications, advertising, and record keeping.
Eager to learn and always ready to assist, Rahul has become a valued part of the team. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess.
Vito Corleone Nardo
Pawalegal
Vito joined the firm in 2023 as a Paw Clerk and quickly became an indispensable member of the team. Always dressed to impress, he has earned the nickname “The Dapper Dane.” Known for his gentle nature and unwavering enthusiasm, Vito provides comfort and emotional support to both the team and the many clients he meets.
Dedicated to his craft, Vito is currently studying Paw and was recently promoted to Pawalegal, with aspirations of one day becoming a Pawyer. Outside the office, he enjoys attending local and state events with the team, where he’s always eager to make new friends.
When he’s off duty, Vito loves playing fetch, catching balls, tug-of-war, and running zoomies. He’s a Certified Emotional Support Dog and is currently training to become a Psychiatric Service Dog to assist individuals with PTSD, anxiety, and stress disorders.
